New Customer Information

Apply for Services
The City of Emporia offers the following Utility Services: water, sewer, and sanitation. Please bring photo identification and Social Security Number. If starting services at a rental property, please provide a copy of your lease.
Disconnect and Shut Off Notice
If payment is not received, you may receive a Shut Off Notice. Payment must be received by 8:00 am on the date listed on the notice or a $30.00 charge will be added to the past due amount and your service may be disconnected. The past due and fee must be paid in full with cash, debit, or credit card in order to have the service reconnected.
The City of Emporia follows a /DocumentCenter/View/6509/Curbit-Calendar-2023-PDF Sanitation Route Schedule and a /DocumentCenter/View/6509/Curbit-Calendar-2023-PDF Recycling Schedule. We provide weekly pick-up, with the day of pick-up determined by your address.
