Notice of Location Change for Emporia Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearings

The location for Emporia Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearings scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 6:00 PM has changed.  The meeting originally scheduled to be conducted in the Municipal Court Room has been moved to: 

WLW Civic Auditorium Little Theater, 111 E 6th Avenue, Emporia, KS 66801

Any person requesting a public accommodation for this location change, should contact Justin Givens, Planning and Zoning Administrator by phone at 620-343-4268, via email jgivens@emporiaks.gov, or in person at the Emporia Planning and Zoning office located at 521 Market Street, Emporia, KS 66801. 

The Emporia Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearings will not be live streamed. However, community members are welcome to share questions and comments by emailing emporiainfo@emporiaks.gov. The questions and comments will then be shared with the Emporia Planning Commission. Deadline for questions and comments by email is Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 4:00 PM. 

Comments in person at the Emporia Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearings will be limited to three minutes.
