Emporia Police Officers and Detectives, along with a Lyon County Sheriff’s Detective executed a search warrant at a northeastern residence Monday morning and seized over 4 pounds of marijuana, 10 marijuana plants, 4 firearms and 4 truckloads of grow equipment. A small amount of methamphetamine was also seized. Scott Lockyear, 64 and William Lockyear, 32, both of Emporia were taken into custody at the residence and booked into the Lyon County Detention Center on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia, Distribution of Marijuana, Cultivation of Marijuana and No Drug Tax Stamp.
