Woodland Park

Acquired by the City in 1964 for a fire station site, this was once the home of Woodland Dairy. The City has sold a northern piece of the park which was the site of an old dairy barn which had been used by the Park Department as a storage facility.

Today, the major function of this site is to serve as a storm water retention pond, in essence a large mowed tract. This grassy field is quite suitable for informal play and provides an ideal location for youth soccer team practice and other similar activities.
